Toasted sesame dressing goes well with salad greens by themselves… but my personal favourite salad toppings with it include grilled chicken, avocado, lightly toasted chopped almonds, diced orange, cucumber, coriander/cilantro, carrot, and spring onion.
2 Tbsp sesame seeds, lightly toasted
1 tsp natural mineral salt
1 tsp ground black pepper
2 tsp ground ginger
¼ cup raw, organic apple cider vinegar
¾ cup olive oil
1 Tbsp water
2 Tb pure sesame oil
(Optional: ½ tsp crushed garlic)
Put dry ingredients into salad dressing bottle, including sesame seeds, followed by the wet ingredients.
Shake to combine, and refrigerate.
Prior to serving, leave out of refrigerator for 20 minutes or so, to come to room temperature.
Use within 2 weeks.
